10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About The Xbox One
9. The Dashboard Is Still Lagging
Despite the arrival of a vastly-improved Xbox One dashboard at the tail end of 2015 - dubbed the New Xbox One Experience - Microsoft's big black box is still suffering from several performance issues, chiefly, menu and interface latency. You all know what I'm talking about. Starting and closing games, snapping different apps together, opening party chat, browsing your friends list, all of these things (and more, might I add) are everyday features that we all - quite rightly - take for granted as features that should work seamlessly, considering the premium price of the console. More often that not though, you'll encounter unresponsive buttons, menus that can take upwards of 30 seconds to open or a total software crash, forcing you to go through the hassle of reopening the program. There aren't many things in life as frustrating as trying to join a group of friends for a quick round of team deathmatch, only to be left staring at a static screen, wondering if the console has registered you hammering on the 'Accept Invite' option. First world problems are real.
