10 Promising First & Third-Person Shooters Coming In 2022

Graven is a dark fantasy first person shooter title inspired by the classic Hexen series. Also incorporating elements of an immersive sim, the game will see players navigating an open ended world sprawling across three expansive regions.

The game will feature non-player characters scattered throughout towns and villages from whom the player can receive quests, upgrades and items. A vast array of medieval weapons and magical spells will be used to combat a variety of horrifying monsters and enemies. It will also feature substantial puzzle sections, requiring thoughtful solutions and exploration.

You play as a priest who has been expelled from his order for rebelling against them sacrificing your adopted daughter. The story will see the priest taking on mysterious heretical sects that are manipulating the seasons and bestowing plagues upon the residents of this fantasy world.

With single player, split-screen and online cooperative play options, players can dive into the dark environments of Graven alone or with up to three friends.

Graven has been in early access for a while but will be receiving a full release on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Nintendo switch at some point in 2022.
