3. The Keyboard And Mouse
A controversial one for sure, but you can't beat the functionality of the good old keyboard and mouse. Console gamers are conditioned to the d-pads and analogue sticks, but you can pick one of those up too if you wanted. On a physical level at the very least, the engagement of both hands, one on the keyboard, one on the mouse, is more immersive than the grip of a single pad. The keyboard and mouse also open up a 'smarter' range of games; management sims and strategy games that for example just don't have the right 'feel' on a console.
