10 Reasons Titanfall Is A Call Of Duty Killer

6. Maps

If there's one big thing that's been troubling over the last few Call Of Duty games, it's the lack of decent maps. Let's be honest, when playing Black Ops II, how many of us simply played the Nuketown 24/7 map over and over again? And in Ghosts, though it offers a decent enough map rotation, there's not really anything there to shout home about, and the lack of a "gimmick" map like Shipment or Rust is a major bummer as well. Simply, it feels like COD has done pretty much everything it's able to within its soldiers vs soldiers wheelhouse. Titanfall, however, is again something fresh and exciting. Though there aren't any comically small maps like the two mentioned above, they're a healthy compromise between that and the huge, sprawling expanses of the Battlefield series. There is plenty of space to land Titans onto the map in peace, but at the same time it doesn't take more than 10 seconds at any one time to get into some action. The maps themselves are nicely varied, with an early favourite so far being the concrete jungle of Angel City.
