4. Final Fantasy 7 Remake
At the risk of being lynched, Final Fantasy 9 is my favourite in series but FF7 is a very close 2nd. With that sordid little revelation off my chest lets swiftly move on.
The remake the world has been waiting for, Final Fantasy 7 is finally upon us. At long last Cloud can jump flip from the train and into 2020, shining in full 4k, all with a revamped real-time battle system making gameplay faster, to give a more futuristic feel.
It is hard not to get excited at the thought of unleashing Barret's gatling gun, or slicing through hordes of enemies with one of Cloud's glorious swords. And to do all that to the remixed original soundtrack? Consider me sold.
There is one question that can’t be answered, though:
Can our heart strings handle that scene all over again? I’m not so sure.
