In video game (with the exception of sports games) you are more than likely to kill someone or something. In fact the whole basis of most games is kill or be killed. Some games go to extreme efforts with the massive amount of gore, while others are more subtle with little detail. Being exposed to murder after murder can desensitize us to the violent act of murder. Im not saying youll eventually go out and start murdering people, but some people eventually do go overboard. Video games (and any other form of media) dont cause people to go batshit insane, but they certainly dont help in showing you different ways of expressing your anger in violent and very public ways.
