How can anyone not like the Orks? Their designs are cool, they have a range of awesome units at their disposal and their background is endlessly appealing. There's something pure about their passion for fighting and destruction. They love carnage but there's no malice or particularly ideology behind their attitude. Sure, they exterminate a star system from time to time, but it's nothing personal.
From the player's perspective, the ability to command vast armies of what are essentially intergalactic football hooligans is just pure fun. There's something fantastically joyous about hurling wave after wave of greenskins into combat and watching the carnage unfold. As much as we may try to ignore it, the Orks speak to something deep in our souls.
