10 Reasons Watch Dogs 2 Is One Of The Best Sequels Ever

6. Driving Is Much Improved

Although most open world games attempt to match Grand Theft Auto V's driving mechanics, Watch Dogs 2 did something different - the opposite.

Rather than attempting to imitate an admittedly fantastic, physics-based driving system, Watch Dogs 2 makes each car feel fast, fluid and fun. Even the generic everyday cars can get some serious speed. This suits the gameplay well as fast getaways are often needed to escape the aggressive police force.

Watch Dogs 2 also places greater importance on the driving mechanics by adding several new side missions. The Uber-esque Driver San Francisco side missions are great fun and really put the driving to the test by requiring you to have genuine skill.

The map also complements the driving style, with the abundance of hills and greenery working well with how fast each car can go. It isn't by any means the best driving mechanic in an open world game but by doing something different it actually stands out in the best way.
