SharePlay is a wonderful invention, designed to help those players who would rather experience the joy of multiplayer with their friends rather than someone thousands of miles away who is significantly better at the game than them. This feature gives Playstation owners the chance to play online with a friend over an internet connection. The friend doesn't even have to own a copy of the game as it comes through their connection from the host's PS4. It's perfect for those who miss the split-screen experience of older generation consoles. It's all part of a move to take multiplayer gaming out of the traditional realms of 'Player vs Player' and bring a more collaborative feel to the world of video gaming.
