This might seem trite to point it out but the facts are there for everyone to see. More people have bought the Playstation 4. Whether due to clever marketing or its complete, unassailable superiority over its rivals it's hard to say: but at time of writing the Playstation has shifted almost double the number of units its counterpart has. To date the Playstation 4 has sold 23,217,798 whereas the Xbox One has sold only 12,835,320 consoles. That might not sound like a huge difference, but when you consider that the universally lambasted Wii U from Nintendo has sold 9,727,909 you get an idea of Sony's market dominance. Even at its slightly higher price point, the Playstation 4 continues to come out on top making it the must have console among gamers.
