One of the best things about Sony is that they learn from their mistakes. Those among us who have crippled their hands after years of putting up with the hideous Dualshock 2/3 of previous generations were praying to the god of video games that changes were going to come. And they did. The Dualshock 4 marks a departure from the tried and trusted controllers of previous generations and into ergonomic, sleek and comfortable design. Where the Xbox 360 controller was the previous benchmark, the Playstation 4 has again overtaken its rival with a design which- unlike the Xbox One's- doesn't look like a Batarang. It's also rechargeable straight out the box. Microsoft expect you to shell out £19 for that privilege.
