Sure his name's pretty naff, but SKX (real name Leland Vanhorn) is so-called mainly out of the people chasing behind only having a trail of bodies as a means to identify him. The Condemned games would go spectacularly off the boil in the second instalment - think superpowered head-popping vocal chords - but for the most part the first was a gritty tale of being one step behind the maniacal SKX as the plot revelations dropped in spades. The great thing about this psychopath was his entire ethos; dispatching other serial killers by finishing them off in the ways they made others suffer, making for some interesting cases-upon-cases that would often unfold with you discovering the person you were tracking down already offed not too long before your arrival. Even at the after-credits of the second title Vanhorn was still shown to be breathing - turning into some strange surgically-implanted cult-creature thanks to the introduction of that game's more supernatural elements. It set the stage somewhat for a third, but so far Monolith have been too busy letting the orc heads fly in Shadow of Mordor to care.
