10 Most Ruthless Serial Killers In Video Games

3. Black Dahlia Killer - L.A. Noire

Some people loved David Fincher's Zodiac, others needed it to stick that landing for the whole thing to have been worthwhile. Well, where that fell down, L.A. Noire at least attempted to tell a better story in the lead up to catching the guy, showing your lead character Cole Phelps be that close to tying everything up - only for 'The Man' to get in the way instead. Noire tends to be a game only looked back upon in binaries; it's either a total misstep where every awesome innovation present hinged on an interrogation mechanic that was utterly broken - or you love it, having the patience and resilience to see each one through, not caring how many times your character flew uncharacteristically off the handle. Either way it's become something notable in the pantheon of gaming history, with a mid-to-late game series of revelations that even outside of the interrogation room kept pulses racing and engagement high.
