One of these encounters is with a mysterious hooded figure known as the Bridgekeeper, who will only let you pass through his bridge if you answer his three riddles.
And if you don't, he will make you die a horrible and instantaneous death.
Now, answering the question if you're knowledgeable about Fallout's lore and game mechanics should be easy, but if you don't feel like putting your life on the line, you can actually completely bypass the Bridgekeeper's challenge... by being too stupid to do it.
If your character's intelligence is lower than 4, the Bridgekeeper will actually notice you struggling with the questions and just give you the answers himself.
Even better, if you confuse him during the first question by constantly asking about his name, the stranger will eventually lose his mind and explode right before your eyes.
