10 SEGA Games That Need A Remake
4. Ranger X
Someone, somewhere (most likely Isao Mizoguchi and GAU Entertainment) once demanded mecha, shooting, motorcycles and flying. And the absolute mentalists did it. Admittedly there seems to be a fair bit of borrowing from the successful Transformers franchise but nonetheless Ranger X was a quality first-person shooter when it was released in 1993.
Set in the distant realms of space players put on an exoskeleton and cause destruction as they attempt to reclaim their home. In a similar fashion to Superman in Man of Steel, when players go about "saving the planet" they cause more chaos than anyone would have thought was previously possible. The result is fun carnage with a variety of weapons and abilities.
There wouldn't be many players who wouldn't want to reclaim a planet in an exoskeleton with a variety of mechanics to master and the core premise of this game would translate really well to a modern audience.
