10 Severely Underrated Spider-Man Games You Must Play

6. Spider-Man: Edge Of Time

In recent years, Spider-Man's comic book adventures have taken a major turn towards the sci-fi thanks to regular writer Dan Slott's love of such huge tales. Readers looking to experience some of this in a video game should, in that case, look no further than 2011's Edge Of Time. The story of Edge Of Time is fascinating and presents its players with a wide look at the universes surrounding everyone's favourite Wall-Crawler. After players see the hero killed in a battle with Anti-Venom, who is a superb antagonist in this story, Spider-Man's life is rewound to a to a point where Miguel O'Hara - Spider-Man 2099 - sees this and realises he has to step in to prevent it from happening. Through the course of the game players get to take control of Parker and O'Hara, each having unique power-ups and skills that can be unlocked as the game progresses. It's truly surprising to see just how differently these two versions can be used, and the game keeps a very unpredictable feel to it as a result.
