7. Spider-Man
The simply-named Playstation title - Spider-Man - was an absolute favourite of mine as a gaming child. I was obsessed with Spidey as a kid, and this game gave me all of the powers (and an small amount of the responsibilities) of my favourite hero. Most importantly of all, however, was that this game was good bloody fun! The game is packed full of classic Spidey foes, and the battles against all of them take place in a variety of interesting locations. Even as a kid I remember this game actually requiring different approaches and strategies at different times; it was never just a case of being able to mash all of the buttons and let the hero's powers do the work. Save for a few exemplary reviews, this game scores a strangely low average rating, which is a damn shame because it really is a satisfying and fun Spidey experience.
