With the recent release of the remastered version of The Sims 2, the fans of the series have gotten the chance to discover new quirks that have been hiding in the game for years.
One such secret is the unusual source of death that isn't present in any other version of the Sims and can catch you by surprise when you least expect it.
If you own the "Open For Business" expansion, your Sim can unlock special perks that are related to running a store. One of these, called "Rally Forth," lets them motivate their employees to work faster by whipping out a megaphone and screaming some inspirational chants at them (good luck cheering up any real-life retail workers with that trick, by the way).
You'd think a perk like this would allow you to work your employees to death, but in reality, abusing this technique is much deadlier to you.
With each consecutive use of the megaphone, your Sim risks overexerting themselves with forced enthusiasm and eventually falling dead mid-chant.
The chances of dying in this fashion are rare, but if it happens to you, you probably deserve it for trying to overwork your minimum wage hires.
