10 Single-Player Star Wars Games EA MUST Make After Jedi: Fallen Order
1. Knights Of The Old Republic
Possibly the worst kept secret in the galaxy, we may very soon be getting a brand new Knights of the Old Republic game.
Rumoured to be a complete overhaul of the franchise rather than a remaster or direct sequel to 2004’s KOTOR: The Sith Lords, this is the game fans have been waiting for.
With a recent leak pointing to the intention to Integrate elements from the first two games in order to bring characters and plot points into the current Star Wars canon, EA have the opportunity to legitimise much of the lore and history which has sprung up around this beloved series.
Eagle eyed (or eared) Star Wars fans will be aware that Rise of Skywalker has officially canonised the name “Revan”, this being the name of a Sith Trooper legion in the latest cinematic instalment. Whilst not earth-shattering in and of itself, this nod to the KOTOR universe is certainly indicative of a wider goal.
EA will hopefully keep, develop, and iterate on the intricate turn-based combat the series is famous for, the inter-character conversational elements, and the literally galactic scale of the storytelling, whilst adding new components to the formula such as starfighter combat, for example.
A new Knights of the Old Republic game would also compliment the rumoured future plans of Star Wars on both Disney Plus and the silver screen, as we leave the Skywalker family behind and move into a new era of potential movies and TV shows, possibly set in this same fallow era of the Star Wars continuity.
