10 Specific Reasons To Get Hyped For 2016's Biggest Games

3. Bow And Arrow Bullet-Time (The Legend Of Zelda)

Shooting arrows in bullet time. Never knew you wanted that, did you? How about Epona naturally avoiding obstacles so you can focus on arrow shooting and wiping out foes? How about a fully connected overworld that is as large as the Wii U can handle, with the focus of the game being on player freedom? Yeah, you can understand why this fairly unassuming reboot (of sorts) is kind of a big deal. Very little is known, other than what is mentioned in the above paragraph, but its mainly the potential that is shown in the gameplay, as well as the consistency of each Zelda game that comes out to consoles. Another aspect worth mentioning is the art direction, which seems to mix the graphics of Skyward Sword with Wind Waker's, into what looks like an absolutely gorgeous game and world to explore. There will certainly be more information in the coming months (likely around E3), but until then, let's hope we get some more information soon (as well as a set-in-stone 2016 release date). We believe in you, Nintendo!
