Play FIFA 17, choose Barcelona and prepare to be disappointed. The unmatched atmosphere of the club's Camp Nou stadium is not included in EA's game, a real shame considering Barca are one of the biggest teams on the planet. These days, the Camp Nou exists only in PES, and that's a real coup for Konami.

In a sense, this leaves football fans with a choice. Do they pick FIFA and play with stars like Messi and Neymar in a generic bowl-like building that definitely isn't the Camp Nou, or is PES the way to go? The problem there being that practically every other team in La Liga won't have an official stadium. It's all about weighing up what you want from a football game.

Maybe all this superficial nonsense isn't what grabs you in the first place and actual on-the-pitch action is the core selling point. Even if that's true, it is nice to play in real stadia nowadays. Failing to secure the rights to Camp Nou exclusively is a blow to FIFA.
