10 Things We Want To See From The AEW Video Game
1. Interesting Career Mode Storyline
At one-time wrestling game fans didn't have to choose between an interesting but almost entirely linear Story Mode, and the extremely customisable but creatively unfulfilling Universe Mode that are included in every successive release.
If the AEW game is going to harken back to the good old days of wrestling story modes, it needs to provide players with the experience of a compelling, well-written story, while still allowing the player to make crucial decisions resulting in a variety of consequences.
After all, if I'm going to spend countless hours perfecting every aspect of my CAW's appearance, entrance, and moveset so I can rise up the ranks to take on the Jon Moxleys, Chris Jerichos, and Kenny Omegas of the world, the least the game can do is make my ascent to the top of the mountain not feel like I'm being punished by having to slog through the mid-card in repetitive non-essential matches like it often does in the 2K series.
