10 Things WWE 2K15 Needs To Bring Back From Old Smackdown Games

6. Submission 5 Count

You could have had your opponent in a submission but they were lucky enough to crawl over and grab the ropes. In most recent games this would call for an imitate rope break where your wrestler would automatically release their submission, but in real life and in SmackDown vs Raw 2005 wrestlers had the option to release the submission or to ignore the referee€™s orders to break the hold and continue bringing the pain to your opponent which would then lead the referee to give you a five count where if you did not break the hold by five you would be disqualified. Like the Double KO€™s this would bring more realism to the game along with adding more dastardly actions a heel could pull on their opponents. Imagine if you will you€™re playing against a heel Chris Jericho who has locked you in to the Walls of Jericho. You make it to the ropes and the referee calls for a break but Y2J refuses and holds you in the submission four seconds longer, as a player you then would want nothing more than to take a steel chair to Jericho€™s head adding to or creating a new rivalry. On the flip side of that coin if your wrestler is a heel, what better way to torture your opponents by holding on to your submission a little too long. A small feature but a good one none the less, the submission 5 count happens on WWE programming pretty much every show thus we should see a comeback in WWE 2K15.
