10 Things WWE 2K17 Needs More Than Goldberg

4. The Long-Forgotten GM Mode

Not every idea on this list is going to happen, even if 2K liked them all they probably wouldn't include every single one. If features weren't going to be fully-fleshed out, then it's likely better that they don't see inclusion at all, but boy it'd be nice to see the return of the under-rated GM Mode.

WWE are set to split Monday Night Raw and SmackDown once more into separate brands, so the idea works from a logic standpoint. Taking on the role of General Manager for a chosen show, the player then makes choices and books matches to try and make that program superior to the competition.

It's a simple idea, but it's one that had legs from SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 until being canned for the 2009 game. In a way, it harks back to old Extreme Warfare Revenge text-based management sims, games that were immensely popular with wrestling fans for a reason.

Having full control over the WWE playground is appealing to most who love wrestling, so it may be something 2K could really think about for 2K17.
