3. Overtime And Infinity Mode - Dead Rising

The original Dead Rising game was a really tight race against time. The game wanted you to solve the mystery behind the zombie outbreak, rescue survivors, and defeat crazy bosses in just three days, all while fending off hordes of zombies with makeshift weapons.

This is probably why being rewarded with Overtime mode after hitting credits was such a big deal.

Overtime mode, as its name suggests, was a special secret toggle that added one more day to the game's story. It not only let you spend some more time exploring the Willamette Mall, but served as a full expansion of the game's story. Frank West now had to fight with the special forces sent to the town to kill all the zombies and remaining survivors, then have one last epic standoff atop a tank surrounded by the horde of the undead.

The best part of this reward, however, was that after beating Overtime mode, the player was awarded with Infinity mode, which let you play without any time limits, catching up on any objects or NPC interactions you had to miss until this point.
