These days Tesla is but a car company that makes electric vehicles, a far cry from Serbian born Nikola Tesla's origins as the creator of the alternating electrical current. But that's got nothing on The Order 1886, the 2015 action game that turned the engineer and inventor into an armourer for the Knights of the Round Table.

There's quite a lot to unpack from Ready At Dawn's dark and gritty take on London, with its connections to the King Arthur legend and the discovery of Blackwater, an unusual liquid material that can extend human life and heal various wounds with ease. There's also an ongoing war with werewolves and vampires, just to spice things up.

Truth be told, the real story here is Tesla's employment status, which sees the aforementioned Order turn to the inventor for any possible edge they can find in the ongoing battle. From the Arc Induction Lance that shoots focused beams of electricity, to TS-29 shoulder mounted rail gun, these weapons are far removed from the real inventions Tesla is known for. Now, if they only built the rail gun into the next car...
