9. Slayer Form - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows Of Amn
From a solely stat-based viewpoint, gaining the ability to become the demonic Slayer is a pretty sweet deal. You get one hundred extra HP, your strength bumped up a considerable degree, and your general fighting prowess increased a tasty amount.
However, perhaps unsurprisingly, anyone who sees you rip your skin off and transform into a creature from the beyond isn't as excited about your new skill. As such, every time you change into the monstrous beastie, you lose two reputation points.
No biggie, right? Well, your max good reputation is twenty, so you can see how this would go south real, real fast. Should any of your party be nobly inclined, they'll quickly quit your team should you turn into Satan in front of their eyes one too many times.
Crucially, you also take damage if you stay in demon form too long, which means you have to transform in and out if you want to use it. So fingers crossed you managed to get a mostly evil party, or you're going to lose a fair few friends pretty damn quickly.
