10 Times You Came Back From The Dead To Kick Ass In Video Games
2. B.J. Blazkowicz - Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Unlike most of the resurrections on this list, Nazi-murdering Wolfenstein protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz was not simply left for dead, but categorically, undeniably sent to the great beyond in the most nauseatingly gruesome fashion.
Roughly half-way through The New Colossus, B.J. is captured, sentenced to death by Frau Engel, and promptly decapitated at Washington's Lincoln Memorial in a televised event watched by millions.
Even for the logic-skirting standards of the Wolfenstein franchise, it was a genuinely jaw-dropping moment that left fans clueless as to what would happen next.
But this wasn't really the end for B.J., whose head is quickly recovered by resistance fighters and grafted onto the body of a bio-engineered Nazi super-soldier.
If that's not cool enough, B.J.'s health also gets doubled back to his regular 100HP, given that he spends the game up to this point with just 50HP due to injuries sustained at the end of the previous game. All in all, he's never been a more efficient Nazi killer.
