10 Times You Were An Utter Dick To NPCs

2. Basically Everything - Every Grand Theft Auto Game

When it comes to letting the dark desire for chaos in you win, few franchises do it better than Grand Theft Auto. At its core, it's a game that lets you mow down random pedestrians.

When it comes to cruelty you can partake in just your free time, ignoring some of the harrowing things your protagonist might do during the campaign, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

It ranges from the downright stupid like putting your foot on the gas when an NPC grabs your door handle to drag them alongside you, to thoughtlessly committing murder or arson just as a way to get quick access to a stolen ambulance or fire truck.

To a certain extent, the slapstick silliness of the mayhem and its relative lack of realistic gore blunts the edges of some of its carnage but you can absolutely bring yourself to moments of "what am I doing right now". For example, taking down an NPC and watching them drag themselves towards the arriving paramedics before taking out the would-be saviours with a shotgun is pretty brutal.

Grand Theft Auto is essentially a "World's Biggest D***head" simulator.
