10 Unknown PS2 Games That Deserve A Remake

6. Gungrave

We don't have a lot of over-the-top, anime-esque shooters anymore, do we?

Besides Devil May Cry and Bayonetta, it's a fairly quiet market.

So why not resurrect Gungrave? It spawned not one but two titles on the PS2 and an TV series off the back of it, so the fan base is clearly there.

It had solid run and gun/shoot 'em up action, as Beyond the Grave (no really, that's his name) tore through two games worth of style and substance. Kitted out with a Desperado-themed coffin that housed special attacks, as well as a melee moves, there was enough to keep players entertained.

In this climate of schlocky dystopian futures, what with DMCV doing numbers and rave reviews, let Gungrave back on the wagon. It had all the style of classic Manga titles like Akira, Project A-Ko and Guyver, I'm sure we'd eat that up now.

Give it the Suda51 treatment: jazz it up, make it OTT and let people have some fun with this stylish anime run-and-gunner.

Just don't actually let Suda51 make it. Christ knows what he'd mess around with.
