Video games featuring martial arts, as themselves or fictitious characters, is a bit of a niche market. There's only been a handful, with the standard being less than stellar. Jackie Chan's Stuntmaster, anyone?

Before Stranglehold, there was Jet Li: Rise to Honour, an ambitious title featuring the likeness and fighting style of the movie star. It even featured fight choreography from famed producer Corey Yuen, so you know it's going to be good.

What made it great is that, instead of button-combo inputs, fighting was handled with the right stick in the relevant direction. Think twin-stick shooter, like Geometry Wars, and you've got the right idea.

It made combat seamless and fun, as all you had to do was quickly flick the stick at the next enemy to carry on. It made for spectacular fights, much like Li in his movie counterparts. Chuck in a few gun battles and bullet-time dodges and we had a winner.

So perhaps a remake, or an update with a newer star, possibly with Li passing on the mantle? What's Tony Jaa up to these days?
