4. Seeing Marcus Fenix Again - Gears Of War 4

Set 25 years after Gears of War 3, Gears 4 will focus on J.D. Fenix and his fellow members of COG as they take on new threats on Sera, all within the span of a single night. Very few story elements have been discussed, but fans of the series are certainly hoping for at least a significant cameo or two. They certainly have one appearance in mind, and no, it's not the appearance of the one surviving Carmine from Gears 3.

Yes, we can only hope that during this sure-to-be-eventful night, J.D. has enough time for a meeting with his father. It would be an extremely intriguing moment as we not only see what Marcus looks like after 25 years have passed, but we could see an entirely different Mr. Fenix personality-wise as well. Has he remained retired ever since the conclusion of Gears 3, or has he remained in the fight, one way or another?

Marcus could serve a purpose to the plot in a similar fashion to Marcus's father, where he goes out in heroic style. Then again, he could just serve as a fan-service cameo, which wouldn't be a bad thing either. Regardless of the circumstances, it'll be great seeing good old stubborn Marcus once again.
