Can you believe Batman: Arkham Knight came out nearly seven years ago? That's right - we haven't had a new game from developers Rocksteady since 2015!

So when they finally lifted the lid on their new title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, we couldn't have been more excited.

Looking incredibly polished, fast and fluid with a great deal of fantastic character work, Suicide Squad looks like a very different game from Rocksteady's Batman trilogy, but we can't wait to see what they do with a bunch of maniacal villains instead.

There's still a lot of questions to be answered about the game such as how it will address using its multiple characters, if it has online multiplayer and whether it'll actually let us kill the Justice League, but what we do know already is that the game looks visually stunning, and all the trailers we've seen so far have us invested in the story already.

If Rocksteady can repeat what they did for Batman in games with other characters from the DC Universe, this could be a truly special game.

Look out for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at some point in 2022.
