10 Upcoming Video Games That Deserve Way More Hype

3. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Yeah, this list is probably starting to look like some kind of hate crusade against Square Enix's PR department by now, but I promise it isn't - not intentionally, anyway. It is bizarre, though, that this list is predominantly filled with games being published by the Japanese giant. The talents of both their in-house developers and subsidiary studios are plain for all to see just from the four games present here, but Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is arguably lower on the publicity scale than all the previously mentioned titles. Officially announced to the surprise of pretty much nobody at one of the most uncharismatic press conferences ever seen probably didn't help matters much, but the reveal came with no gameplay whatsoever. There's been some gameplay reveals in the interim between then and now though, and Adam Jensen's return looks as cyberpunk as ever. There should be no expense spared for Mankind Divided's advertising budget. We can only hope that they come up with something better than the pre-order reward nonsense that's currently doing the rounds. Released: February 23, 2016Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC
