10 Upcoming Video Games That Deserve Way More Hype

4. Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy VII is getting a fully-fledged remake. That's wonderful and all, but what about Final Fantasy XV? You know, that sequel that's been in development for like the last 10 bloody years and is supposed to be coming out before the end of 2015, so says the game's director, Hajime Tabata. The eventual return of Cloud, Sephiroth, Aerith and friends has been a massive double-edged sword for Square Enix. On one hand, they've sent fans of the series into full-on rabid "We need it now!" mode, but on the other, they've made everyone forget that Final Fantasy XV even exists. It's not as if Final Fantasy XV doesn't look great, either. The glorified Episode Duscae demo was more than enough proof that Square are crafting a potentially fantastic JRPG that once again tries to change up the core mechanics to keep things fresh. The stunning summoning of Ramuh in itself should be enough to get you chomping at the bit to get the full game. Not a fan of the new combat? That's fine, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be with you in a few years. Released: 2015Platform: PS4, Xbox One
