7. The HORRIBLE UI & Live Service Overload - Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

A few weeks ago, an image of the UI for Rocksteady's upcoming open-world superhero game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was leaked online.

And to say that the fan response was vitriolic is quite the understatement indeed.

The image, which Warner Bros. has aggressively attempted to scrub from the Internet, seems to confirm that the game will have pronounced live service elements, as the UI includes references to a Battle Pass, in-game store, and what appears to be six different currencies for players to accrue.

Within minutes of the leak, DC fans began drawing comparisons with Square Enix's recent live service superhero bust Marvel's Avengers, which flopped due to the publisher focusing on monetisation without providing sufficiently compelling content.

Beyond that, Suicide Squad's UI simply looks messy and cluttered, as was also a major criticism of Marvel's Avengers.

And given that Warner Bros. still hasn't shown off a full gameplay breakdown despite Suicide Squad releasing in barely three months, it only makes potential customers even more skeptical and frustrated at how it might turn out.

Basically, brace yourselves for another undercooked DC game in the vein of Gotham Knights.
