What is it: HEAVEN OR HELL, DUEL 3, LET'S ROCK!
Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 is the third iteration in the Guilty Gear Xrd series, the gorgeously stylish anime fighter with heavy metal inspirations running through its veins.
Guilty Gear Xrd's roster increases to 25 with the addition of two new characters - fan favourite samurai Baiken and Answer, a businessman ninja in a suit and tie. Extra additions to the series include new specials and retweaked balance for the entire cast, new stages, and a suite of enhanced online networking options.
Hardcore and new fans alike can find a wealth of features to enjoy. New players can experience the Stylish mode, which enables auto-combos and easy blocking, and apply themselves to the game's multiple tutorials and trials to teach them how to play.
The in-game tutorial also features match-up tips and explanations on multiple of the game's inner techniques. The hardcore fanbase can delve back into another chapter of the story mode, new episodes for the previous DLC cast, and try out new items in the perilous Medal of Millionaires challenge mode.
When's it coming out: Rev 2 releases on 26 May for PS3 and PS4, both as a physical package and a cheaper digital upgrade for owners of the original Revelator. A Steam edition follows on June 1st.
