10 Upcoming Video Games We Know Almost NOTHING About
Time to raise the curtain.
Although we often get crowded by all sorts of bad news across the industry, gamers have actually been very lucky over the past couple of years with how many fantastic titles have been released.
Not only that, but we’ve got so many different games in development that it’s almost impossible to keep track of them all - and those are just the ones we know about.
However, even with what's been formally announced - and in some cases shown off - there’s just as much chance of us knowing absolutely nothing about them. Most games tend to get revealed alongside gameplay a few months later, and then finally release with audiences knowing a good deal about what they're getting into.
In this generation... that’s often not been the case. So many different games are coming out in the next year or two that haven’t even been given a trailer, let alone gameplay. It’s mad.
It can be exciting to imagine how these titles are going to play as they preserve a sense of mystery, but the following examples might be taking that idea a little too far.
10. Avengers Project
With Endgame coming out in April, what better timing than now, to show us the Avengers Project?
Originally announced back in 2017, The Avengers Project was supposed to have a full reveal during 2018, but was completely missing in action.
Rumours indicated that it would be a quasi-remake of Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but with a third game announced in the series on Switch, that now seems unlikely.
That means that beside a CG trailer and the fact that Crystal Dynamics is developing it, we now know absolutely nothing about what the game really contains. The trailer we were shown wasn't exactly revealing either, showing various bits of Avengers equipment in states of disrepair.
With the success of Spider-Man, we could genuinely see The Avengers Project kicking off another age of super-hero video-games. As long as Square and Crystal are given a fair amount of freedom with the game, it could really blow us away.
Now... just show the damn thing.
