10 Upcoming Video Games We Still Know Nothing About

7. Bayonetta 3

Death Stranding
Platinum Games

This game is as elusive as the character it's centered around. Bayonetta 1 and 2 were both made by Platinum Games. More specifically, by Hideki Kamiya. That's the guy who made the very first Devil May Cry, hence Bayonetta's similarities to it. Both franchises involve slaying evil creatures with style. For example, Bayonetta's very first battle takes place on a clock tower that's falling out of the sky.

Bayonetta 3 was revealed with a trailer back at the 2017 Video Game Awards. The trailer showed Bayonetta fighting a mysterious warrior and losing. That single trailer contains all we know about Bayonetta 3.

Every time a new Nintendo Direct pops up, fans pray that more information on Bayonetta 3 will finally be unveiled. Bayonetta is technically a Nintendo property since Nintendo was the only publisher to pick up Bayonetta 2, which is what even allowed that game to be made.

A couple of days after the February 13, 2019 Nintendo Direct, Bill Trinen of Nintendo stated that Bayonetta 3 was still in the works. Even better, he said that it'd release earlier than people had anticipated. Is a 2019 release still on the table?
