Many may remember Hello Games, The Last Campfire's creators, as the authors of perhaps the most disappointing game in history - No Man's Sky. However, in the last couple of years, thanks to many patches and expansions, Hello Games have managed to turn it into a truly excellent experience.
The Last Campfire, as a game under significantly smaller scrutiny and intended to have much smaller scale, surely has a greater chance of success. It seems that the studio has learned from its mistakes. One thing is for sure - it can easily compete with The Pathless for the title of the most visually stunning game of all the ones on this list.
This time Hello Games has decided against promising too much, instead opting for something simpler. The Last Campfire appears to be a traditional exploration game with a heavy dose of logic puzzles, which can be a load of fun in executed correctly.
The Last Campfire, which is supposed to come out sometime in 2019, hasn't attracted much attention as of yet. There's a big chance it turns out to be at least good, if not excellent, so it's certainly worth keeping it in mind.
