Grand Theft Auto Online’s community continues to thrive. It’s remarkable, really, just how far Rockstar’s program of updates, tweaks and content rotation have gone to prevent the game from becoming stale since its 2014 launch.

While Online’s early days were like an all-you-can-eat buffet of technical issues, much of this was due to the sheer volume of players all trying to dive in and play at once. The result, for many players, was a continuous failed loading screen to get into that first tutorial mission with Lamar.

With all of this in mind, it makes sense that many fans didn’t quite spend the time they’d expected to on the game’s online component. Even so, the completion rate for Off The Plane really is a shocker.

This achievement/trophy is awarded for simply completing GTA Online’s super brief introduction. You have to do little more than customize a character, yet only 75.70% of players are recorded as having done this. With heists, business ownership and all manner of time-consuming content having been added since the early days, that’s a totally disheartening statistic.
