10 Video Game Achievements You DON'T Want To Get

2. "What Are The Buttons?" - Golden Axe

Golden Axe
Sega

Golden Axe is a title that has endured so well because of how brilliantly simplistic it's design was. As a side scrolling brawller, all you had to do was smash the life out of anything on the same horizontal plane as you and make sure you had enough coins in your back pocket to make it through to the finish line.

It's a game that's been ported to nearly every device imaginable and is instantly recognisable, which is probably why Sega wanted to poke fun at those arriving late to the party with the trophy "What Are The Buttons", which you can acquire by using your potions (the games finite source of magic) when there's no enemies on screen.

It's the same feeling as calling in support by accident on Streets of Rage, as you'll see your one "get out of jail free" move go up in smoke.

Thankfully this only happens on the Sega Mega Drive Classics edition that Sega released in 2010
