10 Video Game Final Bosses You Can Defeat In The Opening Act

1. Calamity Ganon (Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild)

Of course this game was going to end up on the list somewhere. But unlike almost every other entry, and what puts it at the top, is that you don't need some special requirement to be fulfilled in order to beat the final boss. You just need to be really good at the game and get at least some kind of weapon.

The story of Breath Of The Wild really boils down to a super long training mission, involving Link beefing himself up for the fight with Calamity Ganon and stacking his odd in that inevitable clash as much in his favor as he can.

But if you've gone the way of the Tumblr Zelda fandom and instead characterized your Link as a psychotic wandering pyromaniac who seeks only to engulf the land in hellfire, then you likely ignored all that in favor of running straight to Hyrule Castle to take on the big bad immediately and probably kill him with a spoon.

It is totally possible to eliminate Ganon immediately as soon as the game lets you off the Great Plateau, even sooner if you're a speedrunner and know how to cheat your way off that mountain safely. It isn't easy, of course, but if you've taken out Ganon before and know what you're in for when you reach the castle, then you can totally kill him with a twig and some bokoblin teeth you punched out a few miles ago.

Have fun!
