Before Bethesda made it their mission in life to ensure you could play the Elder Scrolls on everything down to your toaster, their seminal fantasy series was the talk of the town. But the third game in the series, the ever beloved Morrowind, did something that its predecessors and successors passed over: being able to get the main plot over with as quickly as possible.

No one really likes the main plots of Elder Scroll games, as it's typically the side quests where the real meat of the game's story is found. So it's more than appreciated that the game tells you where the main baddie Dagoth Ur is hiding right at the start, and you can just go and kick his ass.

As with all the other entries on this list, this won't end all that well for you. Unless you mod the hell out of this game, of course, in which case have fun shoving a sword up ol' Dagoth's keister.
