The Dead Rising series is no stranger to turning useless items into weapons of mass zombie destruction. However, there is only one particular instance in the second game when a useless item can prove the deadliest weapon in your arsenal, without even having to tinker with it.

The Toy Spitball Gun is a plastic rifle that shoots tiny rubber bullets at enemies. Being a kid’s toy, the gun obviously doesn’t do any damage on its own, but it is, funnily enough, the only weapon in the game that can effectively take down a helicopter!

During the fight with the game’s main antagonist TK, Chuck has to fight his ex-employer as he is trying to get away on a helicopter.

His ride is almost completely resistant to any kind of conventional weapon, which is why the player has to resort to throwing objects into the chopper’s blades.

Unless they come equipped with the Spitball Gun.

Because the toy’s ammo is counted as an object, you can actually take down the helicopter with it. In fact, the toy can take out huge chunks of the chopper’s health with only a few bullets, making it the fastest way of defeating TK in the game.
