10 Video Game Moments You Played Again (Because You Were TOO EVIL)

6. Undertale - Killing Toriel

Undertale Toriel
Toby Fox

With Undertale's fandom permeating every nook and cranny of the internet, there's a slim chance you played the game for the first time without knowing a few spoilers.

If by some miracle you did manage to go in blind, you might have made the reasonable assumption that the boss fight with Toriel was a typical test of your combat prowess just like in any other RPG. But "any other RPG" Undertale is not, and vanquishing Toriel in battle doesn't provide the triumphant victory screen you might expect, but a chillingly somber death scene followed by a heart-breaking realisation that you just permanently slaughtered your lovely goat mother at her most vulnerable.

You monster.

And to make the overwhelming sense of regret all the worse, Flowey mocks you for your decision and taunts that you can hardly go back and change fate... or can you? Yes, yes you can. And you did, if you had a heart.
