10 Video Game Platformers That Deserve A Remake

5. Jak & Daxter

Many people forget that there was once competition to PlayStation's darling Ratchet and Clank, and often people will argue that the wrong franchise came out on top. Similar to Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter was a third-person platformer. Born from the same genre, the developers behind both games often worked together on the projects, further pushing their similarity.

Jak and Daxter focussed a little more on platforming and vehicle sections, devoting large amounts of the game to the latter. The games were top platforming and, considering how they got brushed beneath the rug a little, deserve a little spotlight.

That is without mentioning the stunning and incredibly intricate game worlds. Similarly to Sly Cooper, there is a chance we could see a HD remake following Spyro. But it may again be wishful thinking.

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
