There's a golden rule in gaming - The harder it is to complete a quest, the greater the reward should be.

Unfortunately, Assassin's Creed II didn't get that memo, since the developers hid the worst power-up behind the most vexing mission.

As you parkour across the city, Ezio can take part in a side-quest, which requires him to collect 100 feathers. This collect-a-thon is no picnic, since our master assassin must examine every nook and cranny, check every rooftop, and make many leaps of fate to nab each feather.

For your efforts, you will be gifted with the legendary Auditore Cape. Because of how gruelling it is to obtain, you'd assume this robe would boost your health, render you bulletproof, or enhance your sneaking abilities.

Instead, this abominable cloak makes every enemy within a mile try to kill you on sight. If you were intending to show off your new threads, guess again. So long as you wear this cursed cape, you'll be too busy fighting off a never-ending assault from NPCs to do anything else.

As infuriating as the Auditore Cape is, the fact you spent hours grinding to unlock it makes it ten times more frustrating.
