What could be better than working up everyday and talking to an artificial intelligence capable of mass destruction?

This is the exact pitch Final Fantasy developer Square Enix offered fans with the latest smart home assistant to rival the likes of Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The trailer is as hilarious as it is absurd with family members posing various queries to Omega.

The assistant is able to tell some rather, questionable, jokes and save the family from delivering catastrophic presentations. Given it has to answer any questions posed to it, Omega would be a great benefit to parents whose children with never-ending curiosity can't help but ask "why?" to every passing statement or question.

While the Square Enix product was no more than a prank, people can't help but wonder how well it would sell if the developer ever decided to create one and release it on the market. After all, its certainly funnier than Alexa - even if it could wind up its wave canon and disintegrate you at a moment's notice.
