10 Video Game Pranks You Wish Were True

4. Assassin's Creed For Kinect

This one is likely to hit home, hard. Assassin's Creed is an extremely visceral franchise full of satisfaction in each and every kill. But, how much better could it have been on the Kinect?

One prankster duped, or nearly fooled, five million people into thinking this dream was alive and kicking. Back in 2012, someone uploaded a video to YouTube in which of a group of friends - or family members - were gathered taking it in turns to, well, live play as the famed assassins.

The people in the video hilariously draw arrows from a quiver, grapple the air and thrust forward to mimic an assassination. Even more humorously, one woman is even crouched down into a ball, pretending to hide in a hay bale and elude various guards.

Another is aimlessly running around in circles, satirically mocking the loading segments with Desmond in the Animus.

It's a dead giveaway the video is a joke when someone falls and crashes through a wooden table, simultaneously shattering any hopes of it becoming a reality. In the words of the assassins: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted."
